Lace Artwork by NeSpoon, 2016
Renowned Polish street artist NeSpoon visited New Zealand briefly in March 2016, at the invitation of Jillian de Beer, curator for White Night in Remuera. During her visit NeSpoon created beautiful lace artwork on the back wall of 1 Victoria Avenue for White Night Remuera. NeSpoon is highly regarded for her stunning lace art which tranforms and beautifies old buildings. The wall at 1 Victoria Avenue took three days for NeSpoon to complete, and gives a fabulous 3D effect of lacework pressed into clay. The lace artwork on this wall is best seen in daylight, from a short distance away. For more information about NeSpoon visit her Facebook Page Nespoon PL.
